May 2008 Stated Communication

It was a busy meeting this month for Mt. Moriah. We awarded a Student of the Month Certificate, Three Book Award Scholarships for local college bound students, a 60th year Membership Pin and raised a Brother to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason for our Annual Inspection by newly appointed District Deputy Grand Master for the 16th District Right Wor. Brian A. Levasseur! We had a lot of visiting brothers, a fine pot luck meal and a wonderful night.

Here Wor. David Eaton presented Ms. Kylie Morel with Mt. Moriah's Student of the Month Award for May, 2008. She received the award here as her mom looks on with pride.

Book Award Scholarships were awarded to Mr. Alexander Crawford, Mr. John Gaylord and Ms. Erin Tweedie all of whom are bound for college in the Fall. Here the students are with their families and Wor. David Eaton.

Here Rt. Wor. Brian A. Levasseur looks on from the East as Wor. David Eaton awards Wor. Ed Grove with a bronze star in recognition of his 60 years as a Master Mason. Rt. Wor. Levasseur also congratulated Wor. Grove for his many years of service to The Craft.

Bro. Matt Hatch signs the ByLaws of Mt. Moriah Lodge #56 as our most recently raised Master Mason as many worthy fellows and brethren have done before him.
