16th District Officer's Assoc. Table Lodge

Mt. Moriah hosted a Table Lodge of Instruction for the 16th Masonic District Officers Association. Our own Wor. Terry Blake was the honoured guest as the District's 2009 Mason of the Year.
As is usual with a Table Lodge, a great time was had by all.
A short photo essay of the evening may be viewed by clicking on this image:

Here is also a 3.5 minute video of our Wor. Brother Terry addressing the assembled Craft...

Mt. Moriah held its Stated Communication for May, 2010 on the 19th of the month. As is our custom, we had a wonderful potluck meal at 6:30PM and then retired to the Lodge room at 7:15PM where we presented our Student(s) of the Month their awards and then at 7:30PM, we held a short business meeting.

Wor. Elihu Upham presented Hannah Frye with a $10 Gift Certificate to Bridgton Books and a Certificate as our April 2010 Student of the Month while her mom proudly observes.

Wor. Upham then presented Aeneas Robinson as our May 2010 Student of the Month. Aeneas was accompanied by his mother, father and little sister.

During the business meeting, Wor. Upham also presented Wor. David Eaton with his Past Master's Apron in gratitude of serving as Worshipful Master for the previous two years.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming our new District Deputy Grand Master, RW Charles E. Micklon to the lodge for the first time as the DDGM. Charlie is almost always at our meetings anyhow, but it was nice to see him in purple and we look forward to a great time with him representing the MW Grand Master in our District.

Benefit Breakfast for Denmark Public Library

Mt. Moriah has determined this year to hold Benefit Breakfasts for the sake of other local Civic organisations in our towns of Denmark and Brownfield. The Lodge will supply the food, location and manpower to put on these breakfasts and the local Civic organisations are responsible only for advertising the events. All of the proceeds are then donated to the organisation.

The first such benefit breakfast was held on the 3rd of May this year to benefit the Denmark Public Library. Our Bro. Fred Robinson was on hand with a camera and made these photographs to share with you...

March 2010, Stated Communication

Mt. Moriah held its March Stated Communication on the 17th of the month. We had another terrific potluck meal at 6:30PM and then retired to the Lodge room at 7:30PM where we held a short business meeting.

Our Brother Marshall, Wor. David Eaton assisted our Master, Wor. Elihu Upham in presenting our Brother Chaplain, Wor. Ernie Perrault with his 40 year membership pin.

Most extraordinarily, in Ernie's 40 years as a member of Mt. Moriah he has missed only TWO stated meetings and he has almost always been involved in all of the extra activities of the lodge. His service to the Craft and his Community has been exemplary and shines as a credit to himself and the Fraternity.
