Annual Meeting, 2007

The Lodge met in the midst of falling snow for our annual meeting and elections for 2007.

As a capstone to his productive time in the East, Wor. Terry Blake has helped the Lodge find its way to follow the example of many of the other Lodges in the District and State and create a Square & Compass Fund to more easily facilitate the many good works that our Lodge is involved with on a month to month basis within the community as needed.

After many comments of congratulations and thanks were made to retiring Master Terry Blake for all of his hard work for the last three years in the East, elections were held and Bro. David Eaton was elected to serve as Mt. Moriah's Worshipful Master for 2008. Wor. Michael Eric Bérubé was elected as Senior Warden, Bro. Elihu Acker was elected as Junior Warden. The full slate of the 2008 officers and appointed positions will be posted soon along with (hopefully) a Suite Photo.

A semi-public Installation dinner and ceremony will be held for interested brethren and invited friends and family at the Lodge in Brownfield on Saturday the 5th of January, 2008 at 6:30PM.

Student of the Month - December 2007

Mt. Moriah Lodge, #56 in Brownfield awarded Ms. Makayla Kiesman of Denmark Elementary School with the Student of the Month honor for December 2007.

Denmark Elementary's Fifth Grade teacher Ms. Chadwick and the proud Kiesman family join Wor. Terry Blake, and the Lodge in congratulating Makayla on her receiving a Certificate of Achievement and a Gift Certificate to Bridgton Books.
