2008 Scholarship Supper

Younger and older alike showed up for a classic New England Smoked Shoulder Feast so that Mt. Moriah could better afford to fund our annual Book Award Scholarships to be awarded this coming Spring.

The kitchen crew were hard at work in the steaming kitchen...

Wor. Ernie Perault prepared some of the delicious corn bread and rolls to be put on the tables...

Wor. John Pandora cuts up a giant Whoopie Pie for desert servings...

Lots of folks showed up in support and enjoyed a fine meal...

All told this supper took us more than half way toward our Scholarship goal for the year...Another supper in the spring should allow us to easily afford the three book awards that we present each year to deserving students in the three High Schools in our jurisdiction.

November, 2008 Stated Communication

Our Student of the Month for November, 2008, did not show up for the evening so we went directly to work and duly initiated Bro. George Perry to the Degree of an Entered Apprentice. We also held our business meeting in a Lodge of Entered Apprentices for this month so that the newly passed Brother could see his new lodge in action.

A Fellowcraft Degree for our new Bro. Perry is scheduled for our Annual Meeting on the 17th of December with a 6:30 PM supper as usual.

Upon returning to a Lodge of Master Masons, new Petitions were read and balloted upon and the Lodge closed in Peace and Harmony.

October, 2008 Stated Communication

After several months of Darkness for the summer, Mt. Moriah Lodge held our Regularly Scheduled Communication for the month of October on the 15th of October, 2008.

Wor. David Eaton Awarded Ms. Tori Mailman our Student of the Month Award for October, 2008 as her family proudly looks on in congratulations.

June 2008 Stated Communication

Mt. Moriah met for the final time before going Dark for the summer on the 18th of June, 2008.

Wor. David Eaton presented Liam LaMountain with our Student of the Month award for the month of June as Liam's father Jason looks on...

Mr. Charles Miller, Principal of Denmark Elementary, presented his own Award of Appreciation (and a very nice TShirt) to Wor. Terry Blake for his being instrumental in getting the Student of the Month program off the ground and running so well...

The Lodge awarded some past due Masonic Diplomas recently received from Grand Lodge to some of our Brothers who have been raised in the past few years...

Rt. Wor. Brian Levasseur and Wor. David Eaton awarded Wor. Stanley Tyner with a medal and lapel pin in recognition of his 50 years of membership and service as a Master Mason...

The lodge closed thereafter for the summer in Peace and Harmony.
